To the woman who was by my side,
during the ups and downs
where she stood steadfast
no matter what it was
whispering into my ears
that i would make it
giving me the confidence
when none were there

To the woman by my side,
who held my hands,
throughout the journey
from the day i took my first step,
till this very date
I never told you how grateful i've been

A man you've made out of this boy,
the boy who never grew to you

To the woman by my side,
who gave up her career to be with us,
caring and educating us
like a candle
burning itself
just to light the path of others
the career you sacrificed,
the degree you obtained after so much hardwork,
thrown into a corner
covered in dust,
but did you ever once regret it?
Never,because she had us.
Living proof of her sacrifice

I would pray
to be reborn as your son a million times
if i could
but would I be this lucky next time around
